The Center's Thinking Forward Lecture Series starts and continues important conversations about race , diversity and inclusion. The Center is a place of love and hope.

The Bridgehampton Museum was first established in 1954 by a group of concerned local citizens focused on trying to preserve the history and culture specific to our special hamlet. In time the Corwith House would become the main headquarters of the organization. Today, the Bridgehampton Museum is dedicated to the collection, preservation and interpretation of artifacts and documents that tell the story of Bridgehampton’s past and present via exhibitions, lectures, tours, demonstrations, festivals and special events.

With the support of hundreds of stakeholders in the community, CMEE opened its current home in Bridgehampton in October 2005. With over 7,000 square feet of exhibition and program space designed by Lee Skolnick Architecture + Design Partnership, CMEE soon became one of the most visited museums in Eastern Long Island bringing in nearly 75,000 visitors annually. CMEE upholds its mission “to spark imagination and foster learning for children of all backgrounds and abilities and to build strong connections within the East End community by providing playful experiences” by presenting educational exhibits and programs and by partnering with other arts and social service organizations to address issues that concern families in the community.

The East End Classic Boat Society was established to maintain and advance traditions of classic boat design, construction, maintenance, and seamanship through education, demonstrations, and sharing resources and ideas. They invite anyone who would like to enjoy the fun of wooden boat building to join at the Hartjen–Richardson Community Boat Shop in Amagansett. For those with no prior woodcraft experience, it’s a chance to learn. For those with know-how, it’s an opportunity to use their skills to guide others.

The Hampton Theatre Company has come a long way since its founding in 1984 by James Ewing, James Irving and June Ewing, when the company had no theater, no audience, no board of directors and no capital and performed in such dramatic venues as a tent pitched behind the Masonic Temple on Montauk Highway in the midst of an August hurricane. Thanks to the generosity of the Village of Quogue, in 1987 the company found a permanent home at the beautiful Community Hall.
