The Bridgehampton Museum was first established in 1954 by a group of concerned local citizens focused on trying to preserve the history and culture specific to our special hamlet. In time the Corwith House would become the main headquarters of the organization. Today, the Bridgehampton Museum is dedicated to the collection, preservation and interpretation of artifacts and documents that tell the story of Bridgehampton’s past and present via exhibitions, lectures, tours, demonstrations, festivals and special events.

With the support of hundreds of stakeholders in the community, CMEE opened its current home in Bridgehampton in October 2005. With over 7,000 square feet of exhibition and program space designed by Lee Skolnick Architecture + Design Partnership, CMEE soon became one of the most visited museums in Eastern Long Island bringing in nearly 75,000 visitors annually. CMEE upholds its mission “to spark imagination and foster learning for children of all backgrounds and abilities and to build strong connections within the East End community by providing playful experiences” by presenting educational exhibits and programs and by partnering with other arts and social service organizations to address issues that concern families in the community.

The East End Classic Boat Society was established to maintain and advance traditions of classic boat design, construction, maintenance, and seamanship through education, demonstrations, and sharing resources and ideas. They invite anyone who would like to enjoy the fun of wooden boat building to join at the Hartjen–Richardson Community Boat Shop in Amagansett. For those with no prior woodcraft experience, it’s a chance to learn. For those with know-how, it’s an opportunity to use their skills to guide others.

The Hampton Theatre Company has come a long way since its founding in 1984 by James Ewing, James Irving and June Ewing, when the company had no theater, no audience, no board of directors and no capital and performed in such dramatic venues as a tent pitched behind the Masonic Temple on Montauk Highway in the midst of an August hurricane. Thanks to the generosity of the Village of Quogue, in 1987 the company found a permanent home at the beautiful Community Hall.

Established in 1987, the Southampton Artist Association welcomes residents of Suffolk County who are 18 years or older to hone their skills, exchange ideas and encourage one another through workshops and exhibitions during the year. Members include painters, photographers, sculptors and multimedia artists. Four shows take place at the Levitas Gallery for the Arts at the Southampton Cultural Center each year, one of which includes high school students. In addition, an annual community art fundraiser is held as well as the outdoor Art in the Park, which takes place in Agawam Park every July. Southampton Town Hall offers members a chance to exhibit one-person shows on a bimonthly basis.

The Leiber Collection, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit museum in Springs, East Hampton, celebrates the artistry of Judith and Gerson Leiber alongside works by artists they admired and collected. Judith Leiber’s iconic jeweled handbags and Gerson Leiber’s modernist paintings, sculptures, and prints reflect a shared legacy of creativity and craftsmanship. The Sculpture Garden features works by their contemporaries and today's leading artists, honoring the Leibers’ lifelong support of the arts. Housed in a Renaissance-style building with beautiful grounds, the museum also hosts garden tea parties, concerts, opera performances, fashion shows, and more. The Leiber Collection proudly continues its mission to celebrate and preserve the rich artistic heritage of the East End.
The Leiber Collection is open on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 1–4 pm, with private or group tours available by appointment.
