East End Hospice brings hope to the dying and their families and friends. By affirming life, hospice helps people conclude life with comfort and dignity, offering pain alleviation and symptom control in a familiar and caring environment. Certified in 1991, East End Hospice, a 501(c)(3) not- for-profit corporation, has provided services to over 17,000 terminally ill patients and their families – primarily in patients’ homes under the direction of professionals—and with invaluable assistance from dedicated volunteers.

The Mission of the East Hampton Healthcare Foundation is to improve the quality and availability of healthcare for all citizens of the Town of East Hampton, including the uninsured and underinsured, with one standard of care for all. The Foundation built and operates the East Hampton Healthcare Center, which includes Adult and Pediatric Primary Care; Specialty Care; Laboratory, Mammography and Bone Density Services; Pharmacy; Mental Health Services; Bilingual Patient Advocacy, Benefits, and Insurance Counseling; and a Community Room.

The Ellen Hermanson Foundation was founded in 1997 to honor Ellen Hermanson's legacy and continue the vital work to which she dedicated so much passion and effort. Ellen was a powerful advocate and activist who used her journalistic skills to become a prominent voice for breast cancer patients and their families. Through her writing, she raised awareness about early detection, the challenges of living with breast cancer, the often-overlooked issue of pain management, and the profound impact of breast cancer on entire families.

Fighting Chance is America’s oldest and largest free cancer counseling center that operates on a regional basis, in our case the Eastern End of Long Island. Additional services include free transportation to cancer treatment both locally and in NYC, and various support groups including Equine Therapy.

Lucia's Angels is a foundation committed to helping women and families on Eastern Long Island with late-stage women’s cancers including breast cancer, ovarian cancer, cervical cancer and uterine cancer.Lucia’s Angels has provided help and funding for: gasoline gift cards, grocery gift cards, heating bills, dental work, housecleaning, rent, eyeglasses, food trains, babysitting, heating bills, health insurance premiums, automobile repair, ambulatory trips, therapeutic massage, transportation, salon services and wigs. From special wishes like one more trip to the beach, to providing extra child-care, to the holding of a hand, Lucia's spirit and Angels will be there.

Founded in 1996, the Southampton Hospital Foundation (SHF) is the fundraising entity of the Southampton Hospital Association (SHA), which was established in 1909 to ensure access to emergency care for the East End community. Today, SHA continues to play a vital role in supporting Stony Brook Southampton Hospital—the only full-service hospital on the South Fork of Long Island.
The Southampton Hospital Foundation strengthens and advances the Hospital’s mission by securing philanthropic support for clinically proven, patient-centered medical care, essential programs, and state-of-the-art facilities. Through generous donor contributions, SHF has supported critical services including the Paulson Family Emergency Department, the Audrey and Martin Gruss Heart & Stroke Center, the Kathleen D. Allen Maternity Center, The Phillips Family Cancer Center, and the new Stony Brook East Hampton Emergency Department.
Our work remains focused on ensuring that trusted, accessible healthcare is available to our neighbors and visitors across the East End.
