East Hampton’s housing shortage is real; the town can’t afford to ignore any potential long-term solutions. But the recent — and now scrapped — plan for a large employer-run complex on Three Mile Harbor Road raises too many questions that haven’t been fully answered. Bronx Man Sustains Serious Injuries in Montauk E-Bike Crash

A crash in Montauk on Tuesday afternoon left a Bronx man who was riding an e-bike in critical but stable condition at Stony Brook University Hospital. According to East Hampton Town Police, Alice Zosa, 75, of Montauk was eastbound in a 2017 Toyota RAV4 at around 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday when she made a left turn onto Carl Fisher Plaza.
