“Real Solutions To The Affordable Housing Crisis” is the title of the next Express Sessions live luncheon event, to be held from noon to 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 7, at The Clubhouse, 174 Daniel’s Hole Road, in Wainscott.

A discussion of real-world options to create more affordable housing opportunities on the South Fork will include the following panelists: Ralph Fasano, executive director, Concern for Independent Living, an organization that builds affordable housing and has a proposal on County Road 39 in Southampton; Curtis Highsmith, director, Southampton Town Housing Authority; Bob Plumb, a Sag Harbor Village trustee who is helping to lead the village’s affordable housing initiative; Southampton Town Councilman Tommy John Schiavoni; State Assemblyman Fred W. Thiele Jr., who wrote the Community Housing Fund legislation signed by Governor Kathy Hochul early this year; and East Hampton Town Supervisor Peter Van Scoyoc.
