We all pay our firehouse needs through our property taxes. The wonderful people who come to care for us are all volunteers. They are on call 24 hours a day. They come out in every type of weather and respond to police calls when they are called.
I wonder, if the mayor or any member of his family have used the ambulance over the years, would he have paid for it?
Please keep our ambulance service that we have. I am 95 and go to the senior center twice a week for chair yoga and stay for lunch. We are very lucky to live here.
