Bernard Arnault, a French billionaire and fashion executive believed to be the richest man in the world, recently paid $22 million for the building at 1 Main Street in East Hampton Village that was formerly home to a Bohack's supermarket, Above the Potatoes and, most recently, Elie Tahari and now Cartier.
