The East Hampton/Pierson/Bridgehampton football team put host Comsewogue on upset alert all throughout the Friday night tilt in Port Jefferson Station, but ultimately the Warriors prevailed in the low-scoring 7-6 affair. Comsewogue was ranked fifth in a highly competitive Division III coming into this season, and on top of that was heavily favored, 92 percent to be exact, by the Newsday staff to win the game, but the Bonackers showed, on the road no less, that they will be no pushover this season.
