Denise A. Schoen died on May 8 at her East Hampton home. She was 65. She was born on April 7, 1959, at Southampton Hospital to Dennis and Katie (Winderl) Schoen and grew up in Sag Harbor. She was a crossing guard for the Springs School for over 30 years and a janitor at both the Springs School and Montauk Public School. She was a member of the Springs Fire Department for more than 14 years.
