Catherine Agnes Bollenbach, an East Hampton resident for more than 30 years, died on May 31 at Southampton Hospital. She was 83.
A homemaker and devoted caregiver for her family, she was born in Queens on November 6, 1924. The daughter of Julia (née Black) Fullam and Peter C. Weidemann, she graduated from a Queens high school.
She is survived by a daughter, Carol Ann Spencer of Sag Harbor; a son, Peter D. Bollenbach of Buffalo; a granddaughter, Caitlin; five grandsons, Todd, Glenn, Jonathan, Chris and Matthew; a great-granddaughter, Cassandra; and two great-grandsons, Connor and Riley. Her husband, Frederick John Bollenbach and a son, Darryl Bollenbach, predeceased her.
A memorial service, to be held at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in East Hampton, will be announced in a future edition of The Press.
