In my endless search for specific town documents that bring about the question of validity, I will always remember what the town clerk wrote me when I simply asked, “Why not ask other town departments if they have them?”
The revelation came clear in the email response. Our town clerk was looking for the Town Board “resolution first. Without that, there is no document.”
