Pierson Student Wins Mulvihill Scholarship

Pierson High School 2024 graduate Helena Aurora Kolhoff of Sag Harbor was recently awarded the William and Mary Mulvihill Environmental Scholarship. The award was presented to Kolhoff at the South Fork Natural History Museum’s annual gala last Saturday by Mary Ann Mulvihill-Decker, daughter of William and Mary. Kolhoff will be attending the University of Connecticut this fall, majoring in environmental engineering. The Mulvihill family has sponsored a scholarship beginning in 2012, when it was created by Dolores Mulvihill Zebrowski.
