SPRINGS — East Hampton Town Police arrested Byron Andres Peralta Suarez, 27, of Springs early Saturday morning and charged him with DWI and obstructing governmental administration, both misdemeanors. Police said Peralta Suarez was driving erratically on Springs Fireplace Road, repeatedly swerving across the double yellow line leading to a traffic stop. He appeared intoxicated, the police said; the arresting officer asked Peralta Suarez to perform roadside sobriety tests, which he failed. SPRINGS — East Hampton Town Police arrested Juan Carlos Guaman Rigra, 37, of Southampton on misdemeanor charges of DWI early Saturday morning. Guaman Rigra was driving a work vehicle, a 2020 Ford pickup truck owned by the company he works for, and moving at an exceedingly slow rate of speed, while also swerving across lane lines, leading to a traffic stop, the arresting officer reported.
