Corinne Katherine Jaffie, nee Shea, died on October 9 in Southampton. She was 90.
Ms. Jaffie, or “Mickey,” as she was fondly called, was vibrant through to the end, always hoping for a trip to the casino, her survivors said.
She was born in Massachusetts and raised in Nova Scotia. While working as an operating nurse in Miami, she met the love of her life whom she married after a brief courtship; a story she loved to tell.
They settled in East Hampton, where she raised her four children. Her three daughters, Susan of East Hampton, Tina (Ken) of Brewster, Massachusetts, and Diane of Southampton, were with her when she died. Harry, her son, and Raymond, her husband, predeceased her.
