Darkness to Light

At Amagansett School, there has been some darkness and dark days. Let’s shed some light on developing occurrences.

Michael Rodgers filed an Equal Employment Opportunity complaint in 2022. I can reference my correspondences with the District of Columbia, which tracked the document down from Washington, D.C., to a Miami district office. Side note: Where did Neil Block, the Amagansett School attorney, allegedly go to school? Miami. Makes odd sense now. Remember, the other school attorney, Sophia Terrassi, left Ingerman Smith on June 27, 2025.

Thanks to Amagansett School’s own redacted Freedom of Information Law request, we now know that the last referenced bill from a 2022 EEOC filing was March 29, 2024, six days after Rodgers put in his resume for superintendent. The bills reference the EEOC as a “discrimination” complaint.

What alleged discrimination? Alleged by who? What prompted the reporting? What happened prior? Are there any other claims at the school that were unsubstantiated before filing?

Did Amagansett School make a deal to hire Rodgers from his EEOC complaint? If so, why did the School Board do an alleged superintendent search?

In my opinion, individuals may have been brought in to interview for public optics and no real chance at getting the job. Darkness coming to light.

Still here.
