Carol Morrison, 90, a longtime resident of Montauk and a well-known environmentalist, died on October 22.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 14, at 2 p.m., at St. Therese Catholic Church in Montauk. A reception will follow at Gurney’s Inn in Montauk.
Amy Zajdel, 52, of East Hampton died Thursday, May 5.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 11, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Yardley & Pino Funeral Home in East Hampton. A funeral Mass will be held Thursday, May 12, at 11 a.m., at Most Holy Trinity Church in East Hampton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons.
Albert J. Essay Jr., 81, of Southampton and Jupiter, Florida, died on May 5.
Visitation was held on Tuesday and Wednesday, May 10 and 11, at the O’Connell Funeral Home in Southampton. A Southampton Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks service and Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus service was held on Tuesday evening. A Southampton Fire Department firematic service was held on Wednesday evening at O’Connell Funeral Home.
A funeral Mass was scheduled for Thursday, May 12, at 10 a.m., at Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary Roman Catholic Church in Southampton. Interment will follow at Sacred Hearts Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
William Souder Hockman, 71, of North Haven, died on Friday, April 29.
A memorial service will be held for Mr. Hockman on Saturday, May 21 at 1 p.m. at the Old Whalers’ Church in Sag Harbor. Memorial donations may be made to the Resource Foundation or the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.
Elizabeth B. Brophy, 82, of Southampton died Wednesday, May 11.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 13, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Brockett Funeral Home in Southampton. A funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, May 14, at 11 a.m., at Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary Roman Catholic Church in Southampton. A private cremation will follow.
