Visual Arts Program at Warhol Preserve Starts This Month

The Nature Conservancy in New York has announced the 2024 Andy Warhol Visual Arts Program artists. Selected from a record pool of applicants, Michele Brody, Jasmine Gutbrod, Christie Jones and Ria Rajan will each lead art-making workshops this fall at the Andy Warhol Preserve in Montauk. Free and open to the public, these hands-on, art-making workshops steer participants to nature for contemplation, inspiration and creation, according to a press release. The Tyler Valcich Memorial Classic Car Show and Cruise will take place on Sunday, October 13, at the Amagansett Firehouse. Gearing up for Thanksgiving, the East Hampton Food Pantry has launched its annual virtual food drive, which continues through November 11. For the third year, the food pantry is partnering with the e-commerce platform YouGiveGoods to host a holiday food drive. Pantry supporters can shop online, choose from an array of holiday foods, and receive a receipt for tax deduction purposes. YouGiveGoods then delivers the purchases directly to the pantry, with arrivals scheduled in time for Thanksgiving distribution.
