Vittorio Vozzo of Sag Harbor died on February 14, 2020, in Southampton. He was 80. Born on May 15, 1939, in Italy, he was the son of Vincenzo and Lisa Vozzo. He is survived by his wife, Ambrosine “Emmy” Vozzo; two children, Victor and Cristina Vozzo; four grandchildren; and 12 nieces and nephews. The State Assembly has passed a bill to grant official emergency rescue and first aid status to the East Hampton Volunteer Ocean Rescue and Auxiliary Squad.
