East Hampton Told To Pay $177,000 in Fees for Airport Lawsuit Plaintiffs

The judge overseeing the platoon of lawsuits swirling around East Hampton Airport has ordered the town to pay $177,000 in legal fees to the plaintiffs in the cases. The plaintiffs' law firm had claimed that it billed its clients $295,000 for the effort to have the town held in contempt of court for violating a TRO against imposing any new limitations on pilots at the airport.
