East Hampton Village Police arrested a Montauk man, Richard Patrick Daunt, 61, on two felony charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, which are B felonies, at about 9 p.m. on April 29. The controlled substance police say Daunt was in possession of was cocaine. The cocaine was turned up, according to police, after Daunt was initially arrested on misdemeanor DWI charges.
