George Eldi, Vincent Priore and Joan Priore said that erosion of the shoreline in front of their homes accelerated significantly after the west inlet into Napeague Harbor was widened and deepened about 15 years ago. That is also when the historic east inlet began filling in quickly. MICHAEL WRIGHT
