Elizabeth Marie Dragotta
Elizabeth Marie Dragotta of Amagansett died on December 29 while vacationing with her family in Palm Beach Shores, Florida. She was 74.
She was a lifelong resident of East Hampton Town. Born on May 5, 1938, to Mark and Marie Ryan, she was known to friends as “Liz” or “Betty” and to her grandchildren, as “Nannie.” She graduated from East Hampton High School and married her high school sweetheart, Frank Dragotta, in 1956. Her life pleasures included her family, the beach, sailing, and shopping.
Predeceased by her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Debra Fasano and her husband Michael of New Jersey; a son, Joseph Dragotta of California; six grandchildren, Diana, Alicia, and Michael Fasano, Christa and Michael Sebast and Taylor and Madison Dragotta; a brother, Mark Ryan and his wife Kay; and two sisters-in-law, Rose Grau and her husband Robert and Mary-Louise Cullum of East Hampton.
Visitation was Wednesday, January 2, at Scillieri Funeral Home in Paterson, New Jersey. Local visitation will be held on Friday, January 4, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Yardley & Pino Funeral Home in East Hampton. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 5, at the First Presbyterian Church of Amagansett at 10 a.m.
