Federal Stimulus Funds Go to Commercial Fishing Upgrades in Montauk

East Hampton Town receive more than $2 million from the $2 trillion federal American Rescue Plan Act stimulus plan. The bulk of the money has been directed to helping Montauk's commercial fishing fleet, by reconstructing the town-owned wharf on Star Island and creating a new storage area where fishermen can keep traps and nets they are not using.
