The East Hampton Fire Department returned to 168 Long Lane in East Hampton at roughly 6:30 p.m. on Thursday after a barn fire had reignited. “We went back and had to knock it down quick,” Fire Chief Tom Bono said, explaining that a passing motorist had noticed that the barn was smoldering.
