Gerard A. Eberhart
Gerard A. Eberhart of East Hampton died at the Hamptons Center For Rehabilitation And Nursing in Southampton on Wednesday, March 23. He was 70.
He loved the outdoors and thoroughly enjoyed fishing, clamming, and repairing things. He also liked to bowl and was part of a bowling league at the VFW. He enjoyed watching old movies and westerns, usually any movie starring John Wayne or Clint Eastwood.
Mr. Eberhart would go to the boatyard and help people wash their boats. He had a kind heart and loved helping others, survivors said.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Gale; children, Gregory A. Eberhart and Katherine A. Eberhart of East Hampton; a sister, Mary Jane Harrelson of Florida; four grandchildren, Courtney Muller, Alexandria Jones, Hunter Eberhart and Kailey Eberhart, all of East Hampton; and one nephew A.J. Pierzynski of Bridgehampton.
Visitation was held March 27 at Yardley & Pino Funeral Home in East Hampton.
