MONTAUK — A former Montauk resident who police say is now homeless, Nicholas S. Bustamante, 33, was arrested on two felony charges, burglary in the second degree and criminal mischief in the second degree, the morning of April 23. The house Bustamante was said to have burglarized is one he formerly resided in, it appears from the criminal complaints against him. East Hampton Village Police arrested a Montauk man, Richard Patrick Daunt, 61, on two felony charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, which are B felonies, at about 9 p.m. on April 29. The controlled substance police say Daunt was in possession of was cocaine. The cocaine was turned up, according to police, after Daunt was initially arrested on misdemeanor DWI charges.
