The East Hampton Library’s Long Island Collection has unveiled a new exhibit, “Taking Care of Business,” now on display in the library’s front lobby cases. East Hampton Airman Gets Promotion

Nelson Gonzalez German from East Hampton, assigned to the 106th Rescue Wing, received a promotion on August 27 to the rank of airman 1st class. Air Force Major General Michael Bank, the commander of the New York Air National Guard, announced the promotion. The Springs Food Pantry will host its popular “Chowdah Chowdown” event on Saturday, October 11, at the Springs Tavern.
