Ashley Blackburn, an Amagansett School teacher and co-president of the teachers union, stated at the May 13 School Board meeting that this was her “best year” of teaching. At a surprise Amagansett School Board meeting held on July 3, it was announced that Blackburn was retiring.
In my opinion, what a peculiar thing to have been stated, and the subsequent action to occur. It only behooves the curious nature of events.
