Larsen Announces New Slate For Village Election Next Summer

East Hampton Village's NewTown Party has announced two newcomers who will seek election to the two seats on the Village Board the party does not currently hold. Carrie Doyle, far right, and Sarah Amaden, second from right, will run to join incumbent Mayor Jerry Larsen, center, Trustee Sandra Melendez and Trustee Chris Minardi on the board and give the party formed by Mr. Larsen an absolute majority of the village's management.

Sagaponack Village Trustees Carrie Thayer Crowley and William Barbour were reelected to their positions on June 20, in an uncontested election. Barbour earned a total of 19 votes (18 in person, 1 absentee), while Crowley garnered 16 votes (15 in person, 1 absentee). Barbour was first elected to the Sagaponack Village Board in 2011, as a write-in candidate and will be starting his eighth two-year term.
