Lifelong East Hampton resident Patricia Ann Griffiths dies at 56

Lifelong East Hampton resident Patricia Ann Griffiths died on September 3 at Stony Brook University Medical Center. She was 56.

Born November 8, 1952, at Southampton Hospital to Howard and Ruth M. (née Greene) Bennett, she was a graduate of East Hampton High School. A member of American Legion Post 419, she worked as a delivery person for Carquest Auto Parts.

She is survived by her husband, Melvin Hale of East Hampton; a daughter, Belinda Griffiths of Manorville; a son, Scott Griffiths of Yaphank; a brother, Clint Bennett; a granddaughter, a niece, and two nephews. She was predeceased by her parents.

Visitation was on September 6 at the Yardley & Pino Funeral Home in East Hampton, where a prayer service was conducted by the Reverend Denis Brunelle of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church.
