SAG HARBOR — A large gathering of roughly 30 people fishing under the Lance Corporal Jordan C. Haerter Veterans Memorial Bridge prompted response from Village Police on May 23 at 1:37 a.m. According to police, many of the 30 people fishing were doing so without licenses and had accumulated an abundance of garbage. Due to COVID-19, New York State is requiring that school budget votes be conducted by mail-in ballot. Qualified voters will receive an absentee ballot with a postage paid return envelope.
