Hampton Library To Host Family Festival

The Hampton Library will hold a Family Fest FUNdraiser on Saturday, May 17, from 2 to 5 p.m. at Channing Daughters Winery in Brigehampton. The afternoon of family-friendly activities will include outdoor fun and games, a family olympics run by the children’s librarians, and activities led by the Children’s Museum of the East End and Shine Studios. An opportunity to experience “The Sled,” an interactive walk-in mobile tech library featuring electronic games and a green screen will also be available. Pet Celebration Day To Be Held at ARF

The Animal Rescue Fund invites all to its Pet Celebration Day on Saturday, May 17, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the adoption center, 124 Daniels Hole Road, Wainscott. Pets are also invited. It is an opportunity to learn about ARF’s programs and services while enjoying other attractions and local business vendors, as well as food, food trucks, music, pet adoptions, a dog agility course, free microchipping and nail clipping, low-cost vaccines, and more. School News, May 8, Sag Harbor & East Hampton Town

College News Tristan Remkus, of Sag Harbor, graduated from Florida Atlantic University in December 2024 with a degree in business. In addition to his academic achievements, Remkus was hired at Serhant Realty last September after successfully completing his internship and earning his real estate license. Jarred Luna-Pillco, of East Hampton, was one of 30 SUNY Oneonta students who received firsthand experience by preparing income tax returns for the community. Through the IRS’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program, students trained and were available through April 13 to provide basic tax return preparation and filing free of charge. by Staff Writer
