Montauk Fisherman Hospitalized, Boat Sunk After Collision Off Block Island

Only a small portion of the bow of the Montauk fishing boat Jamie Marie was left above the surface after the boat was struck by another fishing boat on Sunday afternoon near the Block Island Wind Farm. The owner of the Jamie Marie, Fred Russo, was injured and taken to a Rhode Island hospital by the U.S. Coast Guard.
