The Springs School Parent Teacher Association is bringing back the popular Springs Mystery Art Sale this year and it will open to the public on Friday and Saturday, June 7 and 8, at Ashawagh Hall.
The Mystery Art Sale, originally inspired by a world famous event at the Royal College of Art in London, is where Springs School students and professional artists create 5-by-7 inch pieces of art that will be exhibited anonymously alongside one another — all at the same price of $20.
The public hours are on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., followed by a closing party at 5 p.m., at which time art purchases will be revealed to be a work from a well-known artist or a budding student artist.
All donations will enhance arts education at Springs School. Artists interested in participating should email springsmysteryartsale@gmail.com.
