Well, now that the wind farm cable is supposedly buried for good [“Wind Farm Power Cable Burial Complete,” 27east.com, May 24], let’s not forget that Section 2.4 of the agreement says that the rest of the payments will not start until the project is completed, the wind farm is producing and the cable is delivering power.
It’s good to know that the CEO of Ørsted allegedly just racked up a salary last year of 23 million Danish krone, or $3.3 million. What did we sell our town for? Twenty-nine million dollars over 29 years. Not guaranteed.
