The Children’s Museum of the East End (CMEE) will celebrate its 15th annual Family Fair on Saturday, July 19, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. This year’s theme, Sweet Escape, promises a fun-filled morning designed for children and families to enjoy together. Aircraft Lands at East Hampton Airport Without Landing Gear Engaged

An aircraft piloted by Curtis Doupe landed at East Hampton Airport without having engaged its landing gear at around 8 p.m. on Sunday night. There were no passengers aboard, and the pilot was not injured. East Hampton Town Police and the East Hampton Fire Department responded to the scene, and the airport closed down, town spokesman Patrick Derenze said in a press release. At 10:40 p.m., the Federal Aviation Administration authorized the removal of the plane from the runway.
