Assembly Schiavoni To Hold Mobile Hours

Assemblyman Tommy John Schiavoni will hold mobile office hours in Greenport, Westhampton Beach, and Montauk during the months of July, August, and September. Constituents may come prepared to discuss concerns or issues, or simply for the opportunity to meet the assemblyman. Free Puppet Shows at Mashashimuet Park

A free puppet show series, with the Goat on a Boat Puppet Theatre, will be held on Saturdays in June at Mashashimuet Park in Sag Harbor, starting June 7. The free series will have weekly activities provided by Shine Studios, John Jermain Library, South Fork Natural History Museum’s Young Environmentalist Society, and the Children’s Museum of the East End. The Neo-Political Cowgirls will hold its ninth annual Andromeda’s Sisters Arts and Advocacy Gala on Saturday, June 14, at 5 p.m. at LongHouse Reserve in East Hampton. Catherine Curtin, known for her roles in “Stranger Things,” “Saturday Night,” “Homeland” and “Orange Is The New Black,” will perform a new monologue, “Ready The Body Charts” by Kate Mueth, founder of the Neo-Political Cowgirls, and comedy writer Emma Tattenbaum-Fine. Unsung Hero To Be Recognized at Fighting Chance Fundraiser

For the 23rd year in a row, Fighting Chance is awarding its Medal of Honor to an unsung hero in the War Against Cancer. At its annual Summer Benefit on June 14, this year’s award will be given to Bryan Daparma, the owner of Hometown Taxi.
