Owen D. Wood
Owen D. Wood of East Hampton died on July 9 at Stony Brook University Hospital. He was 57.
Born October 8, 1952, in Southampton to Maureen R. (née MacHugh) and Melville C. Wood, he was a 1970 graduate of Pierson High School in Sag Harbor.
He is survived by a sister, Ursula DeAmario of East Hampton; three brothers, Aidan Wood of Water Mill, Brendan Wood of Sag Harbor and Liam Wood of North Carolina; and six nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents.
The family received visitors on July 11 at Yardley & Pino Funeral Home in Sag Harbor. A funeral mass was held on July 12 at Most Holy Trinity Church in East Hampton, followed by interment at St. Andrew’s Cemetery in Sag Harbor.
