Noe Campos, 40, of Springs was arrested by East Hampton Town Police on misdemeanor DWI charges around midnight on Saturday. Police said Campos was driving a 2018 Jeep south on Springs Fireplace Road, moving at 58 mph where the speed limit is 40, leading to the traffic stop. The arresting officer reported that Campos appeared intoxicated and failed sobriety tests, leading to his arrest. He was taken to police headquarters in Wainscott, where a breath test produced to a reading of .11, police said, in excess of the .08 mark that defines intoxication in the State of New York.

SPRINGS — East Hampton Town Police arrested a Shirley man, Ryan Odonnell, 36, the morning of December 3 after an incident the previous evening at a Hartley Boulevard residence. Police said that during a dispute with a woman, Odonnell shoved her onto a bed and choked her, then went through her purse and removed $600 in cash and a jar of prescription Xanax, then left. Richard Scott Pims, 52, who resides in both Springs and Boca Raton, was charged by East Hampton Town Police with felony DWI after an accident on Three Mile Harbor Hog Creek Road in Springs on Saturday a little before midnight. Police said that Pims was driving a 2023 Nissan with Tennessee plates when he lost control and went off the road, crashing into a mailbox, several shrubs, and some pilings. MONTAUK — Wilmer F. Guachamin Aguirre, 35, was arrested on a felony charge of criminal contempt in the first degree at a residence the morning of October 28. Police said that Guachamin Aguirre violated a court order of protection that had been issued by East Hampton Town Justice David Filer after an arrest in September.
