Trio of Rotary Fundraisers Will Benefit the Food Pantries

The East Hampton Rotary Club invites the community to a fun-filled evening for a great cause on Saturday, November 8, when it hosts its annual Trivia Night at the American Legion beginning at 7 p.m. Teams of up to eight players can compete for prizes under the guidance of quizmaster Paul Johnson. CMEE To Host Art Opening

The Children’s Museum of the East End (CMEE) will host an art opening reception with CITYarts on Saturday, November 15, from 10 a.m. to noon. The event celebrates CITYarts’ Pieces for Peace project, which invites young people from around the world to create art reflecting their vision of peace. To date, more than 12,000 artworks have been collected from 126 countries across six continents, and a selection will be on display at CMEE during the opening and throughout the fall exhibition. State Parks To Offer Nature Hikes

The State Office of Parks, Recreation, and Historic Preservation has released its list of night owl hikes and seal observation hikes. For the owl hikes, a state park naturalist will guide visitors in the woods to listen for owls and other night life. The location of each hike may vary. Wear clothing appropriate for the weather and comfortable shoes for hiking. Be prepared to hike without lights.
