SAT Prep Course Offered by Child Care Center

The Bridgehampton Child Care & Recreational Center is offering an SAT prep course ahead of the August 23 test date. Classes will be held Mondays in July and August, with an additional session on Wednesday, August 13, from 6 to 9 p.m.

Sunset Cruise for Sportsmen

The East Hampton Sportsmen’s Alliance will host a sunset cruise on Thursday, July 17, departing from Montauk Marine Basin at 7 p.m. The event is open to those interested in fishing, hunting, shooting, shellfishing, or conservation. A Changed Main Street Is Focus of Library Events

The East Hampton Library’s Long Island Collection will hold two events this month focused on the history of East Hampton’s business district. A special pop-up exhibit, opening Wednesday, July 16, with a reception from 4 to 7 p.m. will be a Sneak Peek Series Exhibit: “Taking Care of Business.” It will feature images, maps, and documents that record the history of East Hampton’s business district, particularly the areas around Main Street and Newtown Lane and the shops that used to be there. 'Claymation Party' Coming to Project Most

Project MOST and Little Animation Studio are teaming up to offer a new stop motion animation camp, Claymation Party, from Monday, August 11, through Friday, August 15, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aimed at young filmmakers, the hands-on camp will guide students through the process of designing clay characters and sets, animating them using DragonFrame Stop Motion software, and adding sound effects and voiceovers.
