Route 27 Closed in Wainscott Due to Motorcycle Crash

An accident involving two motorcycles in Wainscott forced the closure of Route 27 on Thursday morning, East Hampton Town Police said in a message shared on social media.

The message, shared at about 6 a.m., notes that Route 27 was closed between Wainscott Stone Road and Wainscott NW Road, while police investigate the accident.

It advises motorists to make alternate route plans to advise the closure.
