Samuel R. Campbell

Samuel R. Campbell of Southampton died on September 6, Stony Brook University Medical Center. He was 83.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Camille Rogers of Southampton; two sons and their wives, Peter and Heather Campbell of Brooklyn, and John and Lisa Campbell of Tennessee; a daughter, Camille von Arnim of London; two brothers, John and Andrew Campbell; three granddaughters, Alice, Eileen and Clementine Campbell; three grandsons, George von Arnim, and Palmer and Samuel Campbell; and a nephew, Christopher Campbell, plus several other nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by a brother, Julius Campbell.

A memorial service will be held on September 12 at St. Andrew’s Dune Church in Southampton.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Marine Corps University Foundation, PO Box 122, Quantico, Virginia, 22134 would be appreciated by the family.
