Sag Harbor’s Pierson Students Invited to League of Women Voters Conference Five Pierson High School students attended this year’s League of Women Voters of the Hamptons, Shelter Island, and the North Fork’s conference, “Running and Winning.” The conference, which was held at the Water Mill Community House, spanned a full day of interactions with elected officials, learning about the importance of voting, and group workshops. Sag Harbor Schools Host Translated Orientation Families and students of Sag Harbor Elementary and Pierson Middle and High School who speak English as a second language were welcomed to Pierson for an overview of the English Language Learners Program. Several families attended to hear from the district’s principals, athletic director, and English as a New Language teachers of various grades.
