Mindy Reyer’s prekindergarten class at the Sag Harbor Early Learning Center recently walked to The Old Whalers' Church to help at the local food pantry and deliver donated food. The students were shown how to sort the food and later volunteers at the food pantry gave the students a tour of the food storage area in the rear of the historic church and they learned that the granite walls came from ships and were once used as ballasts.
