The East Hampton School District will ask voters on May 16 to authorize a proposed $79,079,317 budget for the 2023-24 school year that comes with a total proposed $57,351,202 tax levy, a 3.08 percent increase that is tax cap-compliant. Looking at the three-part budget breakdown, $56,238,270 covers program costs, $15,711,909 are capital expenses and $7,129,138 are administrative fees.
