An Amagansett man faces felony DWI and other charges after he fled East Hampton Town Police following a traffic stop last Thursday morning, January 12. According to court documents, after a Town Police officer attempted to make a routine traffic stop on Indian Wells Highway in Amagansett, the driver, Andres Jose-Juan, 27, fled at high speeds in his vehicle, then on foot, before being wrestled to the ground and handcuffed.
