Montauk

Montauk’s 48th annual parade will be held on Sunday, March 21, beginning at 12:30 p.m. at the corner of Edgemere and Industrial roads. Grand Marshal Craig Tuthill will lead the procession south on Edgemere Street to the Trail’s End Restaurant, turn left down Euclid Avenue toward the Montauk Post Office, and then pass Village Green on Main Street for reviewing. The parade will conclude at the IGA.

Close to 90 participants are expected, including the Cub Scouts, the Montauk Youth, Promised Land Salvage, the Coneheads from Westhampton, Montauk Library, the Bridgehampton National Bank, Montauk School, and invited elected officials.

Hampton Bays

The sixth annual Hampton Bays St. Patrick’s Day Parade will be held on Saturday, March 20, beginning at 11 a.m., led by Grand Marshal John C. Ryan of East Quogue. Starting from in front of the Hampton Bays Elementary School, the parade will head north on Ponquogue Avenue, turn west onto Montauk Highway and end just east of Route 24, near the Hampton Bays Atrium.

The Best Float Award ceremony will precede the parade at 10 a.m. in front of Hampton Bays Elementary School.

Parking will be available in the Hampton Bays Atrium lot, the
Liggett Shopping Center or in the
Macy’s shopping center.

Westhampton Beach

The 43rd annual Westhampton Beach St. Patrick’s Day Parade originally set for March 13 has been postponed to Saturday, March 27, at noon, due to a forecast of inclement weather. Led this year by Grand Marshal Lynne Jones of Westhampton, the parade will begin at Westhampton Beach Elementary School on Mill Road and continue southeast on Mill Road before turning west onto Main Street and concluding near Sunset
Avenue. Bagpipe bands the County
Armagh Pipers, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 25 Pipe and Drum, the Inis Fada Gaelic Pipe Band and Tara Pipes and Drums will perform, as will students from the Westhampton Beach High School
Pep Band.

Classic or vintage car owners who are interested in driving their classic car
in the parade should contact the parade committee no later than Friday, March 12.

If the weather is fair on March 27, a children’s carnival featuring rides and games will be offered this year on
the Great Lawn on the western end of Main Street, where additional
parade parking will be available.
