Jack Motz had an article about Amagansett School and the culture [“Amagansett School Attorneys Billed $104,000 in Fruitless Maria Dorr Case,” 27east.com, July 16]. It wasn’t just $104,000 to the attorneys. Remember, they paid the principal to sit at home for a year. That’s over $300,000 spent. Who paid Tim Taylor the hearing officer?
Is that clique mentality not affecting parents and students?
Another article by Mr. Motz had stated that Councilman Ian Calder-Piedmonte spoke of the public wanting more public access. Did everyone forget Bay View Avenue and the public access that is blocked by an illegal obstruction for seven years, eight summers? Don’t look at Town Code 91-4, letters G and H.
