NORTHWEST WOODS — Jaime Yoc Velásquez, 43, was arrested by East Hampton Town Police the night of October 13 and charged with felony DWI. Police said Yoc Velásquez was driving a 2006 Honda the wrong way on Old Northwest Road, where it is a one-way street. The officer who made the arrest reported that Yoc Velásquez appeared intoxicated, and failed roadside sobriety tests, leading to his arrest. Llanos Rios, 30, of Noyac, was arrested by East Hampton Town Police and charged with DWI after a traffic stop on Newtown Lane in East Hampton Village early Sunday morning. The town officer who made the arrest said that he began following the westbound 2012 Cadillac Llanos Rios was driving when he observed it swerving across lane lines on Montauk Highway near Accabonac Road. EAST HAMPTON — East Hampton Town Police arrested Patrick S. Gallagher, 48, of East Hampton early Sunday morning and charged him with misdemeanor aggravated DWI. The arrest likely will impact a current criminal case already making its way through East Hampton Town Justice court. Gallagher was arrested on the same raised aggravated misdemeanor DWI charge back in February, by the East Hampton Village Police Department. SPRINGS — East Hampton Town Police arrested Byron Andres Peralta Suarez, 27, of Springs early Saturday morning and charged him with DWI and obstructing governmental administration, both misdemeanors. Police said Peralta Suarez was driving erratically on Springs Fireplace Road, repeatedly swerving across the double yellow line leading to a traffic stop. He appeared intoxicated, the police said; the arresting officer asked Peralta Suarez to perform roadside sobriety tests, which he failed. SPRINGS — An altercation Saturday around midnight outside a pizza parlor on Springs Fireplace Road ended with the arrest by East Hampton Town Police of a Northwest Woods man, Daniel Colin Garduno, 27, on a felony charge of assault in the second- degree. The charging document states that Colin Garduno used a weapon with intent to cause physical injury, that weapon being a flowerpot. SPRINGS — East Hampton Town Police arrested Juan Carlos Guaman Rigra, 37, of Southampton on misdemeanor charges of DWI early Saturday morning. Guaman Rigra was driving a work vehicle, a 2020 Ford pickup truck owned by the company he works for, and moving at an exceedingly slow rate of speed, while also swerving across lane lines, leading to a traffic stop, the arresting officer reported.
